for those that don't know, I am back in illinois working (outside of Saint Louis). Preface:
So I am travelling back from Dallas and am on my 10th hour, just arriving into the outskirts of western saint louis. My car is loaded WAY down with all my gear (easily 300 pounds+)
Traffic is fairly thick and we are in a construction zone. I am being my normal self rolling in the right lane (as I am not a rude asshole like most of you guys).
A Z06 comes rolling up in the left lane like he owns it, along with about 10 other stupid missouri idiots who have no regard for common courtesy. So I am coming up on an eighteen wheeler (he too, is in the left lane). I break the pack in half and sneak behind the Z06. The driver of the Z06 is in his later 40's to early 50's. But he's an asshole for sitting in the left lane with the other assholes, so I ride him just a bit.
We pass the eighteen wheeler and the right lane is now open. The bitch in the suburban behind me gets on my ass, expecting me to pull over back into the right lane. I decline. I ride the z06 for a bit.
We come up to another eighteen wheeler and pass him with ease. I decide to turn on my boost controller and see what 11psi will give me when i pass these ass clowns.
I surely DID expect the Z06 to see my blinker and prepare for a right hand pass. But the Z06 got in front and opened it up. While I didn't expect to beat the guy (11psi, hello), I really didnt expect to actually STAY WITH HIM. I was quite shocked by this. As we come up to another eighteen wheeler in the right lane (we passed probably a line of 10-12 stupid fucking left lane faggots) I expected he'd check up, then change lanes. No, at over 110mph, he switch lanes without lifting. I NEVER do such stupid menuevers in traffic. So i check up and let him go. He "won".
That son of a bitch never let off, the best I can tell. I was still rolling at 85mph, and never ever saw that dude again (no exits for miles). I just watched him drive off like a bat out of hell as he left the horizon. Again, he
"won". The only stupid thing to me was the lane change at WOT. The car DID get noticably loose. All he had to do was hit the right bump/gravel and he would have been underneath an eithteen wheeler. Moral:
If you race on the freeway, do not change lanes. If traffic is in your way, check up, make the pass, then be WOT. thank you for listening.
